Analia's Cafe Greek Restaurant

I went here with my husband for lunch today shortly after they opened and it for sure won't be our last. The menu was a bit confusing when we ordered but the very nice lady at the counter helped guided us through it. The chef came from the back and told us the specials for the day since it was our first time. My husband got the meatball special platter and I got the gyro platter on pita and we got the tzatziki app. Our food tasted amazing.

Excellent food, outstanding dining room-- clean and bright. Prices are lower than expected. No waitstaff but food and drink are conveniently brought to table in takeout containers. Host was friendly and answered questions knowledgeably with a smile. Try the shredded filo dough filled pastry dessert, oh so good! Silverware provided for dining in experience.

The food was absolutely wonderful! The woman who took our order was very knowledgeable about allergies and knew what was in all the dishes so we could pick food that was safe for us. A fantastic experience from start to finish - would eat here again

There was no waiter service here today. We had to order all our food at the counter. The counter clerk then served all our food to us in plastic containers when it was ready. The calamari was also out of stock, which was a huge disappointment. We ordered tap water which we had to pump out of a five gallon bottle. The lady running the counter was the owner. She named the restaurant after her seven year old daughter Analia, who was born immediately after the restaurant opened. Despite not actually being Greek-owned, the food was highly satisfying. The shrimp Souvlaki was delicious. The baklava was light and heavenly. The Greek salad was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had in terms of toppings. The gyro had a generous serving of meat. Meanwhile, the moussaka, although unevenly heated, was also satisfying. We’re docking two stars for the calamari being out of stock, along with the fact there was no table service. We’re adding one extra-credit star because the owner was exceptionally gracious and kind.

Today was my first time eating at Analia's, but it will not be my last. I have been craving a Greek salad for weeks, and this one hit the spot. So incredibly delicious and fresh. I already want to go back!

This restaurant is very clean, open and airy. The restaurant staff is incredibly friendly! The prices here are very reasonable and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back and try more things on their menu.

We've eaten at Analia's 10+ times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. The woman at the counter (Analia?) is very friendly and can help you navigate the menu if you have food allergies (e.g., gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian). Prices are reasonable given the quality of food and service. The only odd thing is that it is tucked into a strip shopping center - not where you'd expect to find such great Greek food!

Awesome find! No frills Greek restaurant in a Frederick strip mall serving generous portions of very flavorful food in takeout containers. We ordered the Greek platter with a side of Analia’s Greek fries, the Grilled Shrimp Aegean and baklava. The Greek platter had huge slices of gyro, pork and chicken souvlaki, a salad and some tatziki, with warm crunchy fries. Grilled shrimp Aegean was deliciously tangy with slices of tomato, cucumber, olives, capers, onion, feta with a light lemony vinaigrette. The baklava was a bit of a letdown, but this would not stop me from coming back. Excellent simple Greek food at reasonable prices - count me in!
